That's so funny you put these up! Because I just noticed in a supermarket some product (I really can't remembe what it was) with a security tag, and I thought how cheap and normal that product is to have such tight security. I know that in Australia, batteries and razors are the most stolen good in supermarkets.
I heard tourists had to be evacuated from Hoi An... does this mean my swing through Vietnam is a bad idea right now? It's hard to tell if this is on the scale of a seasonal flood or like Katrina type damage.
Rebel - There was nothing that happened in Hanoi. It was mostly the central coast, so Da Nang and Hoi An. It seems it hit those places quite hard, but i think it's still worth passing through.
I studied environment and urban planning in Montreal. Tired with not being able to find a job, I left the country to get "real experience"... Whatever that means!

Just be happy that there IS cheese!
How is the flooding where you are?
